How to become a WAPA member ?

WAPA is the only international apple and pear organisation solely focused on both industries. WAPA is a forum to share production and storage information as well as to discuss marketing factors and conditions. At present, WAPA members are working together to promote the apple and pear industries by issuing guidelines on eating standards and key nutritional benefits derived from an ongoing international literature review on nutritional benefits. At annual and interim meetings WAPA members present papers and research for discussion, share crop statistics and production information as well as discuss key market factors impacting the apple and pear industries.

WAPA is open to any countries which produce apples and pears for the fresh market. Each member country must designate the nationally recognised industry organisation that represents the majority of national apple and pear producers.
